Riverside Artisans is Oswego’s premier source for fine art and handmade gifts. The cooperative's shop at 191 West 1st St. in the Canal Commons in downtown Oswego features work from more than 20 artists and craftspeople from right here in the Oswego community!
Riverside Artisans offers a wide range of professional fine art and crafts, as well as an opportunity to meet the artists who have created them. New Artists at Riverside Artisans
The Riverside Artisans co-operative welcomes three new artists to its shop in downtown Oswego. Their work is currently on display in the Riverside Artisans shop.
Kristine Dow Merz uses authentic sea or beach glass and her metal working skills to create one-of-a-kind jewelry with a distinctive flair.
Elena Alechina combines hand-worked leather and natural minerals to craft striking jewelry and accessories.
Richell Castellón Ferreira paints remarkable acrylic cityscapes and scenes, largely from his native Cuba.

Something New for the Fall
Paint a beautiful design and light your creation. A tiny light will be be provided to give your bottles for the finishing touch. You will love the results. These lighted, hand-painted wine bottles will make a wonderful gift or just for your very own to have. I am so sure you will enjoy this pretty lighted bottle being displayed anywhere in your home.

If you've never scumbled, this is your chance! Scumbling is a painting technique to create that mysterious mottled sky we see in this great fall painting by Bonnie Somers. Add a few fall leaves to make it more brighter if you like.

The parties will take place in the Canal Commons Community Room at 191 W.1st Street, Oswego. The cost of the each party is $35 and includes all materials. Brushes, paints, canvases, aprons and easels will be provided. Participants need only to bring their own refreshments. There is a $10 registration fee, with the balance of $25 due at the time of the class.
Gift certificates for Art Parties are now available at the Riverside Artisans. Give a certificate and the recipient can register for any of our upcoming Paint Parties!
